This book would be enjoyed by any/all Italian Americans! I am a third-generation Italian-American. This book is about the town I grew up in, and contains familiar names and faces. The prose is wonderful; the smooth writing takes you back to the days when one could walk down the street to a small grocery store, where you knew who was working there, passing friends/neighbors on the way. It make me smile, thinking of how my father grew up, and reminded me of all his wonderful stories. How wonderful that Dan Frizzi Jr. took the time to gather all the stories, write them down so beautifully, and share treasured pictures as well. Bravo!!
